New Members

Welcome to all the new members, especially to those

who joined at our stall at the Go Green Fair. Please do come along to campaign meetings, which are held at the Friends Meeting house, on Ordnance Road, 7.30pm every second Monday of the month. We are a relaxed and very friendly group, and we start each meeting with a bit of a chat with drinks and biscuits. With your help and attendance at meetings we will be able to campaign more effectively for better provision for cyclists in Southampton.

December Meeting

At our December meeting (10^th) there will be an opportunity for you to meet officers of the City Council responsible for cycling promotion within the city. They will be able to update us on recent developments and issues regarding cycling. They will also be able to inform us about future developments and they should be able to answer any questions you may wish to put to them. And, as it is our last meeting before Christmas, please bring some festive food to share.

Fluorescent Vests

We plan to order some fluorescent vests with www.SOUTHAMPTONCYCLINGCAMPAIGN.org.uk printed on the back. These would cost £10-12 and would promote the campaign and provide much needed free publicity while gathering new recruits for the movement. These could be in yellow or red, and we would love to hear your views on the colour, as we are as yet undecided. We hope to have some of these available for the January meeting.
