Hope to see you soon at our December Monthly Meeting (in person and informally on zoom) and social. Arrive 7.15pm for prompt 7.30-8.30 meeting at St Denys Community Centre. Bring food to share (label it please if home-made) and drink (tea/coffee supplied) for social from 8.30pm. Wrap up warm as door will be open. Please also bring your own cup to all meetings, then no one has to wash up at the end. Please do a lateral flow before the meeting and wear a mask. If you’d like to join by zoom, please email membership@southamptoncyclingcampaign.org.uk to get the link (if you’re not on email list). Feel free to confirm in case plans change.  We are now doing monthly rides – see www.southamptoncyclingcampaign.org.uk/rides/

If you’re on twitter please share as the account is now active again: @SotonCycling Please also share events from fb: www.facebook.com/SotonCycling

You can join our secure email list once you have attended a meeting (or if that is an issue, an active member can vouch for you).

Did you know you can ask for 20mph in your area (Southampton residents)?  Click here:  www.southampton.gov.uk/news/article/southampton-city-council-launches-new-process-for-20mph-speed-limit-requests/  asap as needs to do submitted with supporting signatures in Dec.  Your justification could be proximity to schools, dangerous route for people walking or on bikes, etc.  Your  Ward Councillor  can add their names to the application.
We can push for this to be done city wide and done well, and we can push for links on main roads to be improved.  More info at www.20splenty.org
