Sun 29 March: Frome and Piddle Ride

25 mile all day ride to Wool, Moreton, Bindon Abbey and Tolpuddle

Frome and Piddle Ride is scheduled for Sun 29 March. Meeting 10am at Wareham Train Station. DONT FORGET clocks go forward the night before… This is an all day ride with varied terrain and scenery, mostly tarmac but some gravel and bridleways so Hybrid bikes ideal. When reccying, rivers were flooding but am optimistic situation will have improved. I anticipate a quick coffee stop at 1100 with lunch stop 1300-1400 at a quirky farm shop cafe near Bere Regis: Amanda is staying open for us and has offered: soup, sandwiches, cooked breakfasts, pasties, sausage rolls, quiche, beans on toast, scrambled egg, anything along those lines. as well as lovely cakes. If you are operating to a deadline and want to be away quickly, perhaps get a list of what people might like and we could have it ready for you. Let Stephen or me know if you think you will be there.
