M27 Junction 8 / A3024 Highways England Proposal
Southampton Cycling Campaign has submitted its response to Highways England and SCC’s plan for the M27 Junction 8 / A3024 Corridor. This covers the entire route including M27 Junction 8, Windhover Roundabout, A3024 Bursledon Rd / Maybray King Way/ Bitterne Rd West.
This is a very large and complex £130 million scheme which is designed to speed up traffic flow along the A3024 reducing congestion from the M27 and encouraging more cars to go this route instead of using the M271.
