Campaign ride to Manor Farm: Sunday 15th November

The next Campaign ride  is on Sunday 15th November and will be an 18 mile circular route starting and finishing at Riverside Park and with a coffee stop at Manor Farm.

Assemble in the car park behind the social club on Manor Farm Rd from 9.45 am for a prompt 10 am start.  Return approx. 1.30 pm

Route in brief:  Riverside Park, Forest Hills Drive, Cutbush Lane, through Harefield estate, Old Northam Rd, Reservoir Lane, through Hedge End to join the cycle path from Freegrounds School to Brook Lane then south to Manor Farm.  Return via Bursledon, Royal Victoria Country Park and Weston Shore.

Owing to the large amount of rain we have had recently we will probably use the Danni King cycle way from Bursledon to the Country Park instead of the Mallards Moor/Badnam Copse bridleway.

Route out is fairly hilly, return route hilly (mainly downhill) to Bursldon then fairly flat.  Quiet roads, cycle paths and bridleways.  Suitable for all bikes.
