Report on the trial of Steven Petterson

A report has been prepared on the trial of Steven Petterson, charged with causing the death of cyclist David Irving on Mountbatten Way. Different members attended each day with one assigned to make notes of the day’s proceedings and produce a summary to form part of the complete report.

    So sad, RIP Mr Irving.

    I’m sure there are other cyclists, like me, who are aware of this case who are wondering what else they can do to avoid this happening to them. It has played on my mind a lot during my recent commutes and I just don’t know the answer.

    Very interesting objective reporting of the case, facts of the case always summarised by the press.

    I would like to add my thanks to the volunteers who gave up their time to report this in such detail.
