Success: Outcome of public meeting about Avenue cycle path

Success: Our public meeting to discuss the problems with the Avenue cycle path went really well. The outcome is that the Council has agreed to carry out works on the cycle path, the budget allocated should allow as a minimum: repainting of the existing lining, give-way markings on vehicular accessways (subject to landowner consent), warning signs or markings for cyclists, and no parking markings on the footway alongside the cycletrack.
