    I regularly ride my bike around the Southampton cycle-ways. I would be very interested if there were to be informal rides around circular routes on particular days of the week, which one could simply join wherever one wanted on a “hop-on/hop off” basis. Those taking part could wear some form of identification and then each would know and perhaps join up together for a while, have a little chat etc .
    For example there could be a:
    SW quadrant route
    NW quadrant route
    NE quadrant route
    SE quadrant route

    Each would be about 10-15 miles
    For example the NW route could be:
    UP THE A33[taking advantage of Southampton Common] to the M3
    along A27 to North Baddesley
    Cycle route from North Baddesley to western edge of Southampton Common
    Southampton Common aross to A33.

    Thank you

    @GARTH MATTHEWS
    This is a good idea we are based in Town Quay and hire cycles – why not start and finish here at Town Quay and visitors from the local hotels could join in?

    Sunday morning Ride perhaps?

    Hello

    I tried to send a message via your email:membership@southamptoncyclingcampaign.org.uk, however my messages keep bouncing back. I wonder if anyone is aware of this problem.

    Regards
