Title: Campaign ride: Annual Mark Brummell Memorial Ride
Location: Wellington Arms, Freemantle
Description: This ride is in memory of Campaign member Mark Brummell who died in a cycling accident in May last year and starts at his local pub, the Wellington Arms in Freemantle and follows a route he would have taken frequently through the New Forest to the Turf Cutters PH for lunch. Return by same route or via Hythe Ferry if preferred. There will be a coffee stop en route. We will be fund raising for CTC’s Road Justice Campaign and for the Cyclists Defence Fund so please ask everyone to support you with a donation for these causes to make our roads safer to walk and ride on.

    This is a wonderful idea. A very poignant way to remember a tragic death. This should be done for every one of ‘us’ killed needlessly. RIP and thoughts with his family. Hope it’s memorable day.
