		<description>Hi , Well done for your work so far. I think that its possible that most of the so called land owners do not have legal title to this land . the crown own the forshore to the high water spring tide mark, to establish this we need to look at the maps drawn up by the enclosure act of 1815 these are kept at the Hampshire archive in Winchester and are available to view on request . I believe that this will show a high water mark right up to the front door of the cottages at the northern end of the path. The owners of the cottages will have to prove that they have either purchased or leased the land from the crown estates . it does not matter were the high water mark is now as property owners have filled in the river over the years and claimed it as their own but this is not the case they have to prove 60 years of unbroken and unchallenged use to gain &quot;adverse possesion&quot; I am happy to have a look at the Archive if you want but i will not have time to do it for a couple of weeks. all the best Ron</description>
